Brown Hair Bleached Blond / Back To Brown?

Since 3 1/2 years I bleach my hair blond at home, like the Golden Retriever picture :-)

I use a blue powder and a oxidant 9% cr鐚玬e. I only bleache the outside of my hair. I always use hair conditioner to keep it healthier because of the bleaching. My hair grows fast. I only bleache the hair that grows from the top.

I want to get rid of the bleaching and want to have my natural brown back. Can I buy any permanent brown hair color to get my brown hair back?

Who has bleached his / her brown hair blond and got his natural hair back?

If you put brown tint on your hair it will absorb the tint and it will look very dark and then in a few shampoos it will start to oxidize and look streaky . You have to put a filler on the hair so the tint has something to hold onto . Remember the color of the bleached hair and then look at the color of the tint you want to put on your hair. The colors in the bottle are put on white hair or very blond and will be true to the color in the bottle . It's when you have dark hair and put tint on and don't know why it doesn't look like the color on the bottle . It has to go through all the color before it can change and you usually get red hightlights but with white there is nothing but the color of the tint . So put a filler and then you can process it with tint after you risne and dry the hair. If you go to a beauty supply store they will help you , you won't find what you need in the drug store ,well not everything.

Go to a salon and ask the experts, not us.

Hi, Wahat you are looking fo is a 'take back'.

You are right to be asking questions about dying your hair back because its not just a case of dying your hair brown.

First off, it seems like you are using professional products so your on the right track straightaway.

Sallys is a good shop that sells professional colouring products.

You need to dye your hair red first to change the pigments of your hair, then apply the brown dye over it.

The reason for this is that if you do not, your hair will fade out very quickly and appear quite green. Red is the opposite to green so it will neautralise any unwanted green tones.

Try using wella colour fresh, (semi permenant colour) on dry hair. (you need to use something on a level 6 with a number 4 in it, maybe 6/4 6/44 or along those lines.)

Dry it into your hair the best you can with a hairdryer then apply the brown colour over the top. Try not to use a warm brown because the red underneath it could make it become too warm...

Hope this helps. It is the easiest and safest way to do it and will not ruin your hair!

I think you should put a few low lights in your hair and wait for it to grow out. Anything you do now, after bleaching it for so long is going to look very dark to you and your hair will grab much darker than it should because you hair is very porous, meaning it will soak up anything you put on it. It will also fade out very quickly because it is porous. Please seek some professional help if only for the first time so it doesn't become a total disaster, which could happen if you pick up supplies at Sally's and put them on your already damaged bleached blonde hair. Sally's beauty sells very cheap, low value supplies here, I would never buy chemicals from Sally's, only tools, like combs, brushes and flat irons etc. But not chemicals, they sell the cheapest lowest quality products around. Please go to a color specialist and have them give you some suggestions and once it is done you can do the upkeep at home. Good Luck!

if you do it too much your hair will break off so just go to a place like beauty brands and have them treat your hair
