Greasy Hair?

I wash my hair and it will look really healthy and clean and the day it will look really greasy and needs washing again. Is there anything I can do to stop this? x

I have two solutions that does not may reduce this problem.

The first is a dry shampoo that absorbs grease as the others have mentioned. Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with oat extract. As the bottle reads 'Made with softening and protective oat extract, cyclodextrins and natural polysaccharides (micronised powders with very strong oil-absorbing power), this dry shampoo cleans the hair without wetting it, whenever necessary. the hair regains its volume and lightness within minutes. It is also practical and rapid to use.

The other is a shampoo for oily roots. Kerastase Balancing Shampoo for Oily Roots and Sensitised Lengths. It cleanses and purifies oily scalps, while gently nourishing sensitised mid-lengths and ends for soft, light and shiny hair.

mines the same, ive recently found a good shampoo called matrix it rehydrates your hair and puts the oils back in i now wash it every other day

In between washing, sprinkle talc on the roots, and brush out.It will absorb the grease and make hair look and smell really nice.

U can shampoo ur hair every alternate day. If u wanna shampoo it every day, use a very mild shampoo so it dsnt damage ur hair. U hv oily hair and nothing can really b done about it. I hv the same problem by the ways.

I put a little talc powder through my hair and brush it really well when it begins to look greasy and I don't have time to wash it.. The talc absorbs the grease and it looks cleaner for longer.

i have the same problem i just use shampoo and conditioner for gresey hair but here is a tip that will last a little longer to stop your hair being greasy when putting on the conditioner don't put it on your scalp area just put nearer your ends i do this and it work give it a try ive been doing it for acouple of yrs now goo luck and give it a try.

Mine does the same thing and i've tried loads of different shampoos but nothing seems to help really, i think just everyones hair is different.

If I wash my hair that often it gets even greasier! Try washing it every third day with Lush's 'I Love Juicy' shampoo, I would also leave off conditioner if you possibly can. I leave that shampoo to soak in for about 6 minutes and then wash it out thoroughly.

If you were blonde I would say use talcum powder but as it doesn't look like you are it might show up and that would not be good!

Also, don't brush over and over again close to the hair follicles because this stimulates the natural oils in your hair and spreads them through the length of your hair.
