Does your hair color affect the way people treat you?

my hair is naturally brown. i always get lots of blonde highlights in it during the summer...and try to keep it darker in the fall and summer.

i get wayy more attention as a blonde, but i could care less because it's not healthy to color my hair that way constantly (plus it's pricey!)

do you ever notice a change in the way people treat you because of your hair color?

Does your hair color affect the way people treat you?

I was wondering the same, as I have my hair blonde in the spring/summer and darker brown in the fall and winter. I asked a few good guy friends and ex boyfriends. They all said that there's always been the stereotype of the blonde being more fun and carefree-less nagging, etc. They also said that because blonde is brighter it makes guys notice it more and they notice it before any body flaws you may have. Aka-they notice the hair and your face rather than other things first. Basically, to alot of guys, blondes are like eye candy. I also noticed that women aren't as friendly when I am blonde-especially if they have dark hair. Kind of sucks because we are still the same people, but going from blonde to brunette is a big change that alot of people put before your personality.

being blonde is quite and advantage as most guys (not all) think of fit girls with blonde hair big boobs

yehh!!!......i believe blondes get more attention also.......

you can see that jessica alba also started getting more attention as she turned into a blonde........she told it herself.......*that blondes get more attention*......

i'm in the same boat as you. I have drak brown hair (naturally) but it's pretty much all blonde highlights at this point. Ya know, it's hard to say. It's very cliche to say that blondes have more fun or get more attention. I think that I got more attention once I went blonde but I think it was because I starting becoming more confidence and men tend to notice women more when they sense confidence. I really don't think you are treated any differently unless you ACT differently. If you gonig to act like a ditzy blonde bimbo you may taunted and made fun of because you are not part of a stereotype. But if you act like your normal intelligent self you may get intial attention because you hair is bright and eye catching but men will stick with you if your interesting beneath it (unless they are going for only one thing and in that case your hair color doesn't matter!)

yes, i've noticed.

it's such a sad world for how people get labled these days isn't it?

Does your hair color affect the way people treat you?

i personally don't think there's any difference.

at least not where i'm from.

i have naturally light brown hair also. i used to get my hair highlighted blonde. i didnt really notice much of a difference from the way people treated me, but i geuss it just all depends on the people your around. i mean they do say blondes have more fun, but i would just stick to what color you like.

Does your hair color affect the way people treat you?

well it really shouldnt matter what hair colour you have but ive noticed that brunettes are kind of respected more than blondes(dont get me wrong thats only what ive seen).....

i really dont see a point in judging by hair colour though.......
