Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

Please answer if u truly know the answer because I keep getting different answers and I am trying to grow my hair 4 in for a huge event of mines before July and I am stressing over it [ I know it isnt a big deal but it is to me].

Are they better than biotin and do they make ur hair grow faster longer? [ANSWER TRUTHFULLY PLEASE] . Are they also healthy too?

If not make hair longer faster.....what can I do?...I feel like time is running up

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

You mean prenatal? I've heard they are, but I don't know how much longer it will get. Just stronger.

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

Prenatal vitamins will NOT make your hair grow any faster. May I suggest hair extensions?

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

They are good for you but when I took them I saw no change in my hair. Some people do though. It wouldn't hurt to try!

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

Yes, I believe it's true that pre-natal vitamins make your hair/nails grow faster. You should try clip-in hair extensions. They are pretty cheap and look natural.

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

YES! prenatal vitamins WILL make your hair grow faster. I've used them and I have alot of clients that use them and it works well for them too. Everyone should take some sort of vitamin anyway and prenatal vitamins have every vitamin your body needs.

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

The right vitamins and minerals play a major role in keeping your hair healthy. Any nutritional deficiencies can lead to thinning hair or even total baldness.

It is a well known fact that an under active thyroid can result in frizzy or brittle hair while an overactive thyroid turn hair greasy and limp.

The bottom line to this thread is that your hair ultimately reflects the overall condition of your body. If your body is healthy and well nourished, your hair will be your shining glory.

If you are having any health problems or suffering from any nutritional deficiencies, your hair may stop growing or show damage.

If your body is in good health, you can maximize your genetic growth cycle through taking the proper blend of amino acids and B-vitamins.

It is also important to include B-6, biotin, Inositol and folic acid in the supplemental program. It has been found that certain minerals including magnesium, sulfur, silica and zinc are also very important toward maintaining healthy hair.

Beta-carotene is also essential to hair growth. This is because it is converted to vitamin A as the body needs it, helps maintain normal growth and bone development, protective sheathing around nerve fibers, as well as promoting healthy skin, hair and nails.

Beta-carotene is found in green and yellow vegetables and fruits.

Since hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning in hair or a retardation in the growth cycle. The converse is true, If you eat a protein-rich diet it will often result in improved hair growth.

Some nutritional experts suggest the dietary utilization of calves liver, brewer's yeast, wheat germ and a daily dose of two tablespoons of granulated lecithin to maximize hair growth, strength and beauty.

Other good food sources for protein include fish, eggs, beans and yogurt. Soy protein has also been found to be helpful in stimulating hair growth.

One study of the results of soy on the hair found that it not only strengthened the hair but caused it to grow. A great source of soy is tofu.

My Disclaimer: Always consult your doctor BEFORE you undertake any new type of vitamin, mineral program or herbal program of any type to make sure it does not interfere with any medical treatment you may currently be on.

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

prenatal vitamins are a good overall vitamin. i use them daily.. I also take biotin 2500. It is good for your hair. drink water. it is good for skin and hair. you can put oil oil on your scalp for moisture also.

stop stressing and relax as that is a major factor in hair loss

You can also search online for marlyn pills. If you take these in addition to the biotin and stop stressing (smile), you'll be like Rapunzel (however they spell it) in no time

Are premental vitamins good for ur hair??

Do you mean prenatal vitamins?? If so, yes they work for your hair and nails. They make it really difficult to poop though. No kidding.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

I tried a lot. I heard one method that if you tie your hair up for a long time, it's growing centimeter by centimeter. I've tried that but it takes too long. I just need an expert to tell me how to do this!

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

Eat healthy. Don't colore dye or perm your hair. Get it cut every 8 weeks approx. Just a trim, tell the stylist you are growing out your hair.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

It seems silly, but make sure you cut it frequently, like every 4 weeks, just a half an inch or so. That keeps the ends healthy and i've heard it makes it grow faster. You can also go to GNC and get natural vitamins that are supposed to work.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

Eat foods high in silica and zinc such as oats/oatmeal, green vegetables, nuts and seeds, seafood, lettuce, and also sea vegetables (nori, wakame, hijiki, arame, kombu), used a lot in Japanese cooking but available from health food shops. Try a supplement containing silica, zinc and kelp as well. You need to wait for 4 weeks though so that the nutrients enter the cells and create new, healthier hair cells.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

use a hair product called nature way.....8 will do wonders

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

Get it trimmed every 6 weeks.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

im preg. and my prenatal vitamins are making my hair and nails grow like crazy!!! i dont know if you can take them when your not preg, but its always a suggestion

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

My daughter just got six inches cut off her hair and now regrets it, so she has been researching this issue. (Prom is 6 weeks away and she's hoping it'll grow!) She has read several articles and also gotten on some message boards where the women swear by Biotin (a B vitamin supplement). I bought some at Target, it's 1500 mcg, and was only about $5. She's only been taking it a week, one a day, and so I don't know how it'll work, but it's worth checking into.

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

u need to take high frquency hot vitamine E oil treatment.

or at home get pure coconut oil in the oil add three capsules of vitamine E + ADD FEW DROPS OF LEMON JUICE

allpy this oil twice a week leave it for overnight then wash it off in the morning.this will help

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

Stop pulling and tying up your hair. Do you have any chemicals on your hair? How do you style it ?

Need to know more. My best answer right now would be to take a multi/vitamin daily and keep styles simple. Do not use anything that would tend to dry your hair out excessively. Good Luck!

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

Keep your hair trimmed neatly, and Be careful combing or brushing it, use a good conditioner. If your ends get split and scraggly, your hair will split up, and break off, making it seem as if it is growing slower. Actually, your hair won't grow any faster, no matter what you do, but it can be healthier. It will get long faster when it is healthy and doesn't break off. Eat lots of fish, or take omega 3 fish oils, use flax seed or flax seed oil on your salads. Some people still recommend a scarf or a braid at bedtime, but????! Maybe a loose braid would be ok. You need good circulation in your scalp, so think of ways to get that going, slant boards, incline board, hang your head off the side of the bed for a few minutes. Whatever works. You can also add cayenne to your diet, or vitamin E. Niacin is great for circulation, but go Easy!!! To much is NOT good. Circulation is the key to lots of hair, Nutrition is the key to healthy hair, and frequent trims with gentle care is the key to no breakage, making your hair appear to grow faster. Good luck!

How do you make your hair grow faster and healthier at the same time?

It is known that Washing your hair in the gel sliced from the Aloe Vera plant will cause your hair to grow long and healthy. Try it and then let us know what happened.

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

I am a fifteen year old girl, who's active, and healthy, and I have been having clumps of hair coming out more than once of twice a day. After I wash my hair in the shower is the time when the most hair comes out. Should this be something that I need to be concerned about, or what should I do?

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

Are you stressed out? Stress can cause hair loss.

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

have your thyroid checked

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

,Yes ,this is something you should defiantly be concerned about.I am not a doctor and can not tell you what to do but it sounds like you defiantly need to consult with one.For some one your age this sounds like a serious medical problem.

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

Yeah you should have your thyroid checked and its probaly because of stress!

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

its normal ., i have it to., its cause by hormonal changes as ur body gets ready for winter., it will stop eventually.

Take Vitamin C ., it helps

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

I am sure your locks are OK! It's said that you loose 50- 150 hairs per day. I'm close to your age and the same thing happened to me earlier this year, where it seemed excess hairs were coming. It happened to some of my friends too. So your not alone, it should probably stop after about 2 weeks or so.. It's just something we all do!

Hope I helped!

Lately I have been loosing more than usual amounts of hair. Is this normal?

it could be the shampoo your're using, cuz when I used Pantene, it made my hair fall out due to the harsh chemicals in it

My suggestion is to get both angels and one or two layers. Then you can blow dry your hair with a brush tipped hair dryer. It shows of your hair's layers, and gives you shiny straight hair without damaging it as much as a straightener would!

Help! i'm not sure how I should do my hair on the first day of school. Any ideas?

Okay.

-scrunch it

-put in a cute headband

-take a small piece of hair, and tie a ribbon [or a few] in a bow around it

-curl it

-crimp random sections of hair and straighten the rest

-crimp the top half of your hair and straighten the bottom.

-french braid it.

-do a regular braid.

-straighten it

-make a very side part and take take a top layer of hair, and clip it back with a small clip

-do a quiff

-do a messy bun

-put your hair in a big clip

my hair is a little longer than yours but i just started using hot rollers at school you will get everyone taking of ur new do

Help! i'm not sure how I should do my hair on the first day of school. Any ideas?

Well, I have about same length. I'm going to curl my if I'm allowed to. I think you should do the same but use a Robbin to tie it so it is an up do.

Help! i'm not sure how I should do my hair on the first day of school. Any ideas?

Just wear it the way you've been wearing it all summer, or the last school year. If you're comfortable with your hair (and what you're wearing, and how you act) then you'll look like the coolest person in the school.

Help! i'm not sure how I should do my hair on the first day of school. Any ideas?

Start a new trend - shave it all off and then you won't have to worry!

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

It is now just about shoulder length whilst curly, which I hate cause I always wear it long and straight. Because I always used to straighten it, it was very dry and brittle with split ends so it needed the many inches cut off.

I am now planning to wear it curly all the time, until it gets really long and straighten it for occasions.

My question is how do I look after my naturally curly hair so it don't break, go frizzy and what are the best products for curly hair in the UK?

I really want it to grow healthy and quick lol

Thanks

same append to me u just either have to put up with it till it grows out or get it re done i let mone start to grow out first then had it re done if its coloured b carefull as you could end up with verrrrry wacky hair

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

naturally curly hair, for the most part, is easy to care for. Just don't blow dry it. That murders the hair. There are special shampoos and conditioners for curly hair, but I find it is better to go just by hair condition. If you hair is dry, get moisturizing conditioner (key!). Other than that, a little gel or mousse and you should be good to go.

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

i use redken anti-snap u can get it from most hairdressers.

Also y not try a curly bun?

GOOD LUCK!!!

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

My hair is also frizzy and curly if I don't straighten, but my hairdresser gave me a good tip. After washing and conditioning, if you can leave it to dry on its on (if you are at home for instance), put some more conditioner in it and scrunch it. Works a treat.

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

i had this problem when i cut my hair i have naturally curly hair i am white but i use Afro hair products i live in UK as well there are so many hair shops where i live. this keeps my hair moist and MY HAIR HAS GROWN BACK SO FAST I STILL USE IT NOW EVEN THOUGH MY HAIR IS LONG

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

use leave in conditioners and products such as serums or curl enhancers, try to avoid heat appliances and use suitable combs such as an afro comb. Also use conditioning treatments for dry brittle hair once a week. + regular trims as well. approx every six weeks.

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

I hate it when the hairdresser is busy....and you have ????s that need answering. The best way to have nice curly hair is moisture and lots of it. Go to a salon and get the conditioner that is for chemically treated hair. When you get home add some cooking oil to it. not alot, maybe 4 tablespoons to a bottle. After you shampoo your hair give your conditioner a good shake and apply leave on the hair till it is soft feeling. The cooking oil I find makes my curl very tame and shiny, and protects it so breakage stops. If you wash your hair everyday, don't use the conditioner everyday ,the oil will start to way your hair down. I use it on my hair 2 times a week. As for breakage stay away from brushes and putting elastics near your scalp for a pony tail. To help hair grow faster I read and now take cod liver oil caps and vitamin e, what a difference in the haircut times. plus if you can put two braids that are mildly tight in your hair once in a while, it makes your cuticle in your hair stretch there fore it grows each time a little more. I hope some of the things I have learnt about my curly hair will help your curly hair.... good luck

Had my hair cut today but I hate it,... need advice...?

Hi, Its horrible isn't it when you have your hair cut and don't like it! Well I'd probably recommend Tigi Control Freak shampoo which is really good for reducing frizz on curly hair. Also if you are looking for a styling product, Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum is good - just pop some in your hands when your hairs wet, twist your hair round your fingers and diffuse it, then scrunch a little more into your hair when dry - it helps create sleek, sexy curly hair. Alternatively rake the top section up into the middle of your hair and grip it messily. This looks nice and soft too. If your hair's in bad condition L'anza Trauma Treatments a really good strengthening product. Hope your not suffering too much!

Any good tips for healthy hair????

Stay away from bleach it's really damaging

Don't use permanent color, stick with Demi permanent (lasts just as long but no amonia) or temporary color.

Try not to wash your hair every day, try every other or every two days.

deep condition at least once a month

keep thermal styling to a minimum(blowdrying, ironing, etc.)

be sure to have your ends trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks

Take a multiviatmin(like centrum) to help keep your hair %26amp; the rest of your body healthy

use Aussie, rinse with cold water, comb smooth, do NOT brush wet hair. use the same line of products for everything. when and if you blow dry, use a hair dryer that lets you use cold air. do not color your hair any where from 3-4 hair shades different, natural is best!

Any good tips for healthy hair????

For healthy hair..shampoo it with a clarifying shampoo at least twice a week.I recommend Creme of Nature. It cleanses your hair without stripping it of its natural oils.Taking vitamins..they're good for nails, skin, and hair. And deep conditioning..I recommend LeKair's in the pink jar..makes your hair really soft.Use it as a deep conditioner at least twice a month.Try to protect your hair from the heat.Wrap your hair in scarves nightly..and also keep it pinned up so it won't brush against your clothes if you have shoulder lenght hair...also visit this website....

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

My first question is if you protect your hair enough then straightening your hair almost everyday wont damage it to the degree that it'll fall out easily right? I mean, i don't care if my hair isn't in superb condition becasue it never has been, but i absolutly love the style i have with straight hair and don't want to stop it. But i'm also scared of my hair getting in the condition someone i knows is (they just pulled at it and a chunk came out).

So to sum it up my question is if you protect your hair enough, will it stay at a semi-healthy condition?

Also how important are these thermal products that protect your hair? Would it be possible to get away with just conditioning your hair alot and using straighteners not at full temperature? Or are these products that protect hair from straighteners a requirement if you want to keep your hair from reaching an awful quality?

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

Okay sooo....

Keep your straightener at a very low heat. In fact, the lowest it can get while still straightening your hair.

I have a cheap straightener but it stays at a low enough heat that i dont have to worry about frying my hair.

Conditioning your hair will not help to keep your hair healthy

it just prevents frizz. I would suggest diluting your shampoo and conditioner by mixing in water so that its not so harmful because technically you are only supposed to washa and condition every other day.

Good luck

Hope I helped!;)

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

dat person u talked bout prob had extensions lol

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

I use therasilk, they really work. ALso, just remember to use conditioner every time you wash your hair, I hope everything works out for you.

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

If you use hot irons everyday make sure you use a good conditioner. At night run some Biolage condition balm threw you hair and wrap it up in a towel or plastic wrap. Shampoo and style in the morning. You can get the product in most salons.

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

Honestly, I straighten my hair every other day with a CHI- which is a professional flat iron (which gets REALLY REALLY HOT) and I was told by my stylist that you should use some kind of thermal product or serum while your hair is 75% - 80% dry to avoid overheating it, especially in my case since I have blond hi-lites. Some of these products are hardly that expensive and you need to use very little (depending on your hair length and type) or your hair will look oily. Some products I enjoy: Avon Straightening Balm or Fructis Sleek and Shine or Bio Silk (most expensive) but large bottle will last like forever. Good Luck with your choice.

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

My God your the way you word things made my head hurt

Yes.. another question about the damage heat causes to hair :D?

I don't know, I think it might just be the hair type and condition that I have, but even if I use a thermal protector and whatnot, my hair still does get lot of damage from using a flat iron. I know a lot of people who can straighten their hair every day without product and never get a split end and their hair won't thin, and I know others who basically have no hair because of their flat iron addiction. I use top of the line, strictly salon quality shampoo and conditioner, I've tried every product from Pink Lotion to Biosilk and back, but I've given up and just accepted the fact that my hair is just not cooperative with flat irons! So just try out different products I guess, and see if anything works for you. Good luck!

Gray Hair/Thinning?

I'm 16 and I've got a lot of gray hair stands. My aunt says it's because I'm lazy. Also my hair has thinned a lot since when I was like 10 and 11. My hair used to be very thick and healthy and now it's thinner (still thick but not as thick). I didn't take care of it for about 2 years and a lot of came out through brushing and stuff. Even with the new hair growing in, it's not as thick as it was. How can I get my hair thick again? Can I get a hair transplant and make it thicker again? What can I do about th grays and thinness? Thanks.

Gray Hair/Thinning?

the grays are going to come when they come, laziness and perms have nothing to do with it. the thinning could be from too many chemicals though.

keep your scalp healthy to promote new hair growth. give yourself a 5min scalp massage everyday to promote better circulation to your scalp. use a good cleansing shampoo once a week to keep away build up. use a good conditioner to help keep your hair strong.

Gray Hair/Thinning?

It's not that unusual for a 16 year old to have some gray hair. And it's not because you are lazy. That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. It is most always hereditary. As far as thinning, it could be breaking along the hair shaft instead of coming out from the roots. Make an appointment with a professional hairdresser for a consultation about your concerns about your hair. Most professionals do not charge for a consultation and they can tell you if it is necessary for you to seek medical advice about the problems you are having with your hair.

Gray Hair/Thinning?

I've had grey strands of hair since I was 10. The old tale was if you we're young with grey hairs you were wise, (old ppl tend to be wise).Start taking good care of it,don't use products all the time, wash your hair every other day.Brush it 40-100 times a day, once in the morning and once at night. Pick out a grey hair if you spot one.If you hair is really thinning badly, don't wash it often, maybe every 4 days.Use a hair thickening shampoo,I would suggest a salon brand. It's in your genes(in other words it's hereditary)it has nothing to do with being lazy, she's saying that to make you more active.,My friend is 18 and completely grey, early aging so she dyes it whenver it starts to turn grey. Eat lots of vitamins and protein.Milk,meats. Daily servings.Massage the scalp, take care of it by all means and get a good shampoo.

Good Luck!!=)

Gray Hair/Thinning?

To check graying of hair, mix lemon juice in olive oil, beat till frothy and apply on scalp and wash off after an hour. Premature graying of hair can be postponed by using a strong decotion of black tea and a tablespoon of salt, strain and apply to the roots for 45 minutes and wash with water. Don't shampoo. Please check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

How to have a healthy hair?

To have healthy hair, do not wash it every day, and be sure to condition the ends to prevent split ends. for a quick deep condition, i'd recommend mashing up six strawberries and two tablespoons of mayonnaise and mixing it up. put it on your hair for an hour, and then rinse it all off, and that should make your hair glossy. also, be sure to drink plenty of water and have a decent amount of protein in your diet.

naturally it falls out everyday, and stress causes it to fall out but are their shampoo's or other hair products that wont damage hair

What is the healthiest but best way to keep my hair thicker, and not falling out all the time?

It is good to take B vitamins, but some people need something other than oral vitamins. All other organs in our bodies use the vitamins before they get to hair and nails. Check out Rene Furterer's Complexe 5 %26amp; RF80. The Complexe 5 is essential oils of orange and lavendar. It opens your pores on your scalp, then you shampoo with the appropriate shampoo for your scalp type, then apply the RF80, which are vitamins that go directly to the root of your hair. It really works!!! I've done it! It's a once/week treatment that you do for 3 months, then take 3 months off. After one month you will notice a whole bunch of new hair growing ... and your hair will grow faster!

What is the healthiest but best way to keep my hair thicker, and not falling out all the time?

Take a multi-vitamin

What is the healthiest but best way to keep my hair thicker, and not falling out all the time?

It's always best to use a better shampoo and conditioner. Go to a salon and tell the hair stylist your problem and she will find the right shampoo for you. Believe it or not, the way you take of yourself helps. Take a multi- vitamin and it will help extremely well with your hair and skin.

What is the healthiest but best way to keep my hair thicker, and not falling out all the time?

use hair manse it works very good.

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

Ok I know many people here say that the natural, smelly oil you get when you dont wash your hair for a day or two is healthy, but seriously come on... I'm a white male, early 20s, my hair gets real smelly and oily if I skip a day without washing it. I use selsun blue twice a week (that's what it says on the back of the bottle) cuz I have a dandruff problem and for the other days I use a shampoo with tea tree oil in it. I use a suave conditioner with that only twice a week (cuz I heard its bad to use conditioner every single day, right?)

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

Naw ur fine. I wash my hair everyday too.

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

so wash it.. but use a good shampoo without a bunch of waxy stuff. It will build up a reside in your hair.

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

Nothing is wrong with washing your hair every day, and nothing is wrong with conditioneing yyour hair every day. just make sure thta every day you shampoo your hair, you condition it.

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

It is NOT bad to use conditioner every day. When you wash it every day, you strip out the natural oils that your hair needs to be healthy. It really depends on personal preference though. Some need to wash it, some don't. Some are oily, some are dry. It just depends on how your hair behaves by itself. I do comment you for keeping up with hygeine though...

But ask yourself if all of it is really neccesary.

Chances are, unless you are REALLY VERY physically active, your hair will not start to stink. A shampoo scent usually lasts about 1 to 3 days if you use a good shampoo.

Well good luck with your hair dilemmas.

: )

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

I have long hair, and I know that if I wash it too often, my hair gets oilier - weird, but true - I wash my hair every other day, and only use conditioner on the part of my hair that would be sticking out of a pony tail - you might have a type of skin and hair that require you to wash it every day, but you might also be over-washing. If that happens, your scalp dries out and over-compensates by producing more oil. If you have short hair, I'd try nixing the conditioner (which will leave your hair oilier) for a week or two, and try to only wash it every other day for at least a week. You might find that your scalp would relax and be less oily. Also - stop touching and playing with your hair, which makes it oilier.

Good luck, man!

What's wrong with washing your hair every day? What if your hair starts to stink??

I think your first step should be finding a new shampoo. Selsun blue, or Head and Shoulders have wax and fillers in them. Any thing with tea tree or peppermint is great for dandruff problems and it is soothing to the scalp. Crew makes a dandruff shampoo. Paul mitchell's tea tree shampoo would also be a good product. If your willing to spend a little more money, check out Kiehls or bumble %26amp; bumble. They have great products as well! Again, please get rid of the suave conditioner. I promise you'll will see results if you buy better quality products.

Has anyone else used fantastic cleanse and fantastic condition from fantastic sams? Or any of their

My friend bought the fantastic cleanse and condition and hated it, so they offered it to me. I usually opt for free stuff and turned it down . Some how, it still managed to make it to my house. So a week or so ago I ran out conditioner and desided I would give the fan. conditioner a go. I usually have to use a good bit of conditioner in my hair because it's so thick but I was surprized when a little bit of this was almost to much. My hair felt better than ever after using it. So I am now using both the shampoo and conditioner. They are both great products! My hair look's better and healthier than before and even then it wasn't in bad shape.

Any one else use these product's? Or any of their other one's? I think I'm going to stick with them for a while.

I am asking because I would like to know if this is just a temp thing... You know, you find great product's and one they stop working. Even if you give them a rest for a while, you never get the results you got at the start.

Has anyone else used fantastic cleanse and fantastic condition from fantastic sams? Or any of their hair goods

i remember using it once and my hair came out silky and easy to comb. But now I use fructis garnier because I have curly hair and it REALLY works for me. Fantastic Sams is a GREAT place to get haircuts and hair supplies though :)

Has anyone else used fantastic cleanse and fantastic condition from fantastic sams? Or any of their hair goods

It is not fantastic

Poofy Hair?!?

I have very poofy and thick hair, my hair is probably 5 times thicker than the average person, my hair is about 4.5 inches past my shoulder and is very healthy. I hate straitening it because it takes almost 2 hours and still doesnt look very strait, I always put it in a pony tail and thats very boring, so please give me ideas on what i can do with my hair without going to the salon or buying some thing. Also if you know an eaisier way to straiten it, it would be helpful. thanx.

Poofy Hair?!?

Why dont u try adding mousse and gel (strength #10) to your hair after washing it?? I have the same kind of hair as yours, poofy, BIG, except its long too and also takes me 2 hrs to flat iron. Try the mousse/gel or u can justr add gel to wet hair and let it airdry.. add some hairspray and your hair wont poof. and it looks sexy. U can wear it ina ponytail like this too, or half

Poofy Hair?!?

so you don't want to buy anything (gel or mousse)

so this is the advice i can give you!

1. you can straighten it with a real iron, except you need to have someone else do it for you. and don't worry about burning your hair, there is a special protective layer on the iron that does the work to protect you.

2. hit the conditioner hard. this will bring some of the curls down.

3. some hairstyles you can try is half up, half down ... maybe pigtails ... or to the side and just straighten side bangs.

good luck! :]

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

I was on Yasmin for 3 years. After 1.5 years on it with good results I was hit with number of side effects the worst of which were heart palpitations, complete loss of libido and chronic U.T.I.s always followed by yeast infections. It's been 5 months now since I stopped taking that horrible pill and I have stopped having all of those nasty side effects, however now my hair is falling out. I am a healthy 27-year-old! I looked into this syptom online and apparently it's yet ANOTHER Yasmin problem!! Something about hormonal imbalance... I'm kind of freaking out. Has anyone else experienced this? Please share your story... Do you know how long it will take for my body to fully recooperate?

Thanks!!

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

Oh my! I've heard of a couple of women who had heart palpitations too. That's frightening! I hate birth control pills because they whack us out, so I have been avoiding them the last few years, and I just use an alternate method of birth control...

As far as the hair, this popped into my mind... It's autumn (or spring in australia) and that is a time when we tend to shed our hair more. That could be happening to you, and it could be exaggerated because of the Yasmin. I'd talk to someone who is an expert about birth control pills (planned parenthood or an OB/GYN), 'cause your general practitioner (especially if it's a male) may be full of *ahem*.

Good luck!

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

It is due to a hormonal balance and you stopping the Yasmin. It may take a couple of months for your system to straighten itself out. Don't panic, however, if you keep having problems you need to notify your OB/GYN.

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

You probably the hormone imbalance. Since you stopped the medicine. It will take time to return normal. If I were you check your doctor.

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

Since I started YAZ, my hair has become amazing! It's super smoothe and pretty now. I love YAZ. SOrry it didn't work so well with you!

Losing hair after stopping Yasmin b.c.?!?

People can loose hair after taking some medicines. I'm sorry, this has happened to you. But you can reduce it by making diferent masks for hairs at home:

I do them after hair colouring, they prevent and reduce hair loss.

What can I use to help the middle of my hair grow?

To be specific, I have permed blackhair. The middle is the shortest part and doesn't ever seem to catch up with the rest of my hair which does grow well, but can also use help for breakage at the tips. My hair used to be healthy and straight without the perm. But after too much experimenting with coloring and ponytails, it's not the same. Help! Hairgrowth tips please!!

What can I use to help the middle of my hair grow?

first of all, stop getting perms, their out of style!!! I recommend you cut your ends and suggest you use this special treatment called "Its a 10" its a miracle hair mask it does what it says it does:detangles, restores moisture balance, instantly restores elasticity, softens, smoothes, imparts luminous, enhances natural body, nourishes, de frizzes improves color vibrancy, It Really Works and have been using it for over six months and being that I'm a hairstylist i only recommend products to my clients that i have used and worked for me. If you have any questions you can email me at nogui18@yahoo.com and i will be more then happy to help you out.

What can I use to help the middle of my hair grow?

Swimm??? and hair????

well my hair is naturally curly and i straighten it everyday, on april 18 our school is going for a swim test for our year end trip swimming activities and my hair is going to go curly after i come back from my swim test and i am want it straight the only reason i dont want it curly is cuz i am curling my hair for grad and i want to stand out. Do any of you guys have any tips on this?? also what do i do to get soft, healthy, shiny, smooth, volumized, etc.. hair what shapoo works the best rite now i use loreal but i am going to switch to pantene soon. and how often should my hair get wet cuz i take a shower everyday and my hair gets wet but i shapoo my hair on sundays, saturdays and wednesdays is that good?

Swimm??? and hair????

Brush your hair straight after you swim and put it in a tight braid. Then the curl will be contained.

I also have curly hair and I love pantene. I also hardly ever straighten it. I love curly, it's the best. Anyway, I personally only shampoo once a week, but use conditioner every day. My hair stays soft. Also, once a week use a product called Cholesterol. It comes in a big jar and it's a really deep conditioner. I get it at Walmart and it's really cheap, but it's good. Anyhow, smear it on your hair, then wrap your hair in a plastic bag, then soak in the tub and read a trashy magazine for half an hour. Rinse it out. Your hair will be softer than you ever thought it could be.

Swimm??? and hair????

Before you go swimming put in some special hair condinter called hair manyonnese its no gross it is just called that get it at beauty supplie stores

Swimm??? and hair????

I love the products by John Freida.

He uses amazing ingrediants.

He has products you can buy that aren't too expensive and help to create a shiny look without making it greasy.

I would always shampoo your hair, once a day.

Otherwise the oil builds up badly on yoru head, creating the irritation which could create bad dandruff problems.

If dandruff is the issue i would use Head %26amp; Shoulders, thats AMAZING shamppoo.

Totally recommend it!!

When buying shampoo make sure and splurge a little bit on yoursef, if you really care that much about your hair.

I take care of my hair, and it looks great because of the healthiness of it.

Make sure and buy some John Freida products, they work and they will make you never want to go back to any cheapo shampoos.

:D

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

Without having your hair stripped of its natural oils - and stay healthy. I shampoo and condition once a week - I shampoo twice and condition once. Shampoo with warm-hot water and condition with warm-cool water. Then, I either towel-dry or use my hair dryer. But, my hair still seems a little too dry. How can I help it to stay healthy and I don't want to go to the hairdresser, beauty stylist, or salon to do it. I want to do it myself. I either use Gerniear Fruictuse or Finesse, and sometimes Suave. What does Dove do or Tresseme?

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

Dove, it's excelent and they have a quiz on their site so you can choose the best system for your hair!

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

I use motor oil myself.

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

don't shampoo as often. it strips your hair of natural oils. you can condition everyday but not the roots.

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

May I just start by saying that Garnier is probably a good choice for you--it makes my hair a little greasy.By try getting a special shampoo that won't strip your hair..I think Dove has one.

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

Your hair care regimen is good! I do exactly what you do but i use PANTEN PRO--V best stuff out there, even for black people hair(and im talking about the normal Pantene line of products lol) Try to use Pantene, since u havent?

Eat healthy, drink lots of water. Use Heat once a week. and moisturize with hair lotion =) and comb hair every night

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

I'd start washing your hair every or every other day. Make sure you get a moistorizing shampoo/conditioner. Dove should be good but don't use the foam stuff. When your hair is wet, comb your hair out with a wooden comb as to keep natural oils. Plastic combs soak up too much natural oil, and brushes rip out your wet hair.

How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

Talk to your stylist, but its reccomended to wash your hair every other day if you dont use any products or you use very few products, or try Dove hair products

Hair question???

does anyone know any hair treatments that'll make ut hair more shinier nd thicker nd healthier, i hear that if u put mayonnaise like once a month it works but idk so any usggestions

Hair question???

I like to use VO5 Hot Oil Treatments. They repair your damaged hair and makes hair shiny and soft. Also, hair masks and conditioning treatmetns are good for the same thing. For thicker hair, use a thickening gel or cream (one that says it's for more volume or body)

Hair question???

Start using the Biosilk products. They are all awesome.

Especially silk therapy

Hair question???

Mayonnaise isn't any good. It just makes your hair smell weird and its impossible to get out! Try some thickening shampoo %26amp; conditioner from Paul Mitchell. It really helps strengthen your hair and make it thicker. Also, to make your hair shinier, buy some Garnier Frutics Anti-Frizz serum--even though its for frizz, it helps your hair be shiny!

Hair question???

ITS A 10.. you can find it in a beauty supply store only!! It works great!! They also have a deep condtioner!

Hair question???

Well you may not think that some one such as myself would know about hair... I`ve into the MOD scene for about the last 23 years and have had all the french cuts and boufonts and stuff and used all sorts on my hair just to get that Rod Stewart or Steve Marriot look and now I`m reaching the twilight years I`ve been told you can`t beat plain shampoo and conditioner at the end of the day. I don`t know if your fringe is chasing the back of your neck like mine though hee hee hee but I`ll go with that for the time being

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

hey my hair was very curly but i have straightened it.... it was very healthy even after i straightened it but my hair has a tendency to become dry after some time (even when my hair was curly). Could the dryness of the hair have to do with the weather or stress? and do hair treatments and serums really help? thanks

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

Yes conditioning your hair can truly help if your not adding a lot of heat to your hair, meaning blow drying or using a flat iron these things really fry the hair especially if you do it often.

L'Oreal Mermaids is a great deep conditioner, Frizz Ez has a deep reconstructing conditioner that is good too and Hask placenta conditioner is good too.

1. Wash your hair and preferably let it air dry

2. section your hair into 4 sections

3. Apply conditioner within each section in small parts 1-2 inches diameter of hair start nearer to the root but not on scalp thoroughly saturate all of your hair

4. If it's long enough braid into 2 or 4 braids if it's not that long put it up in clips or in a bun place a scarf on your head to promote your own body heat

5. Preferably leave it in overnight if not able to at least leave it in for a few hours so that your body temp. will help the conditioner penetrate the hair shaft.

6. Rinse it out and you will feel a difference

If your hair is extremely dry do this once a week if not so bad do it twice a month and if moderately dry do it once a month

The reason to apply it to dry hair is the conditioner applied on wet hair simply coats the hair and slides off, when the hair is dry the conditioner is able to actually penetrate the hair shaft with your own body heat as an activator

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

I think you should do both it works better

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

get frequent trims, like every 6 weeks... And use a hair mask. fructis makes a really good one, or neutrogena triple moisture....

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

if you dye, blow-dry, put a whole bunch of gunk in your hair, and all that good stuff, yes it will get dried out. condition your hair about twice a week. you should also cut the dead ends (if you have any).

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

Hair can represent what you are going through at the moment.. As for dryness, I dunno... BUT, mayonaise does wonders... Try it.

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

i also have very very dry hair that i blowdry and straighten, but i use deep conditioner when i wash it (i like NIce n Easy). i also use serum both before and after i straighten it and it makes it soft and doesn't weigh it down. i'd opt for a serum with a sunscreen in it if you're gonna be in direct sunlight for more than about an hour-that can really damage and dry your hair out

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

do treatments and cut it because if you just treat it the new hair will dry and die too if you do both it will help alto more. hope u take my advise..........=)

My hair is quite dry..do treatments really work or do i have to cut it?

you could put leave-in-conditioner in your hair by nexxus and leave it for 3 minutes and rinse it and it really leaves your hair shiny and smelling beautiful and it really, really look healthy.

Any good ways or techniques you guys know, to grow your hair longer, shinier and healthier? haha.?

If you want to stimulate your hair growth and make sure your hair longer, shinier, and healthier, try these tips.

Tip #1 At least 2-3 times per weeks prior to shampooing, whip up 2 tablespoons of Mayonnaise and 1 egg. Let it remain on your hair for at least an hour. It will tame and soften your hair and SUPER hydrate your hair. Also, it will strengthen your roots and strands.

Tip # 2 Reduce the amount of heat and chemicals you apply to your hair. I know you said that this is an issue for you; however, I have a product that will enable you to apply less heat to your hair.

Tip # 3 I suggest you buy a salon quality shampoo and all natural hair growth conditioner. The best ones that I have found, that works for all hair types to hydrate and grow damaged hair, and works on all my clients, is GodHead Vanilla Milkshake Silky Smooth Hydrating Shampoo and A Double Portion Super Hair Growth Conditioner. Both products have aloe vera, rosemary, neem, and a host of other goodies for your hair that make it grow long and fast and stay moisturized and shiny. Your hair will no longer break, shed or be unruly and unmanageable. You can get them both online at www.discoverb4a.com. Most of my clients that used A Double Portion had 1 to 2 inches of growth every month.

Tip # 4 Most importantly, remember to eat a high protein diet, drink water, and stay away from hair coloring, junk food, and chemicals.

Any good ways or techniques you guys know, to grow your hair longer, shinier and healthier? haha.?

just apply vitamine E oil

What's the best way to flat iron natural african american hair?

I've been wearing my hair naturally, it's very strong and healthy. Not brittle and dry. I want to know how to flat iron my hair without it being weighed down by grease or wax.

What's the best way to flat iron natural african american hair?

You definitely want to use a heat protectant to keep your hair strong and healthy. You can also use a creme press in addiction to the heat protectant to help straighten and moisturize the hair. After washing, blow dry your hair with the comb attachment. Then take your flat iron and straighten in small sections. And I'd definitely opt for a flat iron with ceramic plats. I have one that I bought at Sally's for under $25 and it's nevery led me astray. You can also get an electrical hot comb at beauty supply stores. My preference was for the hot comb, but YMMV.

What's the best way to flat iron natural african american hair?

just flat iron it like regular...and when you straighten it you need to use a parting comb...and put it rght below the straighter when you do...sry..I really dont know who to explain it

What's the best way to flat iron natural african american hair?

Get a ceramic flat iron :

First wash your air and put them in rollers, roller set ur hair to get a more bouncy look. Dont put in setting lotion because it will make it hard.

Then dry ur hair underneath a hair dryer not a blow dryer.

Then take the rollers out and use the ceramic flat iron and flatten it and use grease since u have natural hair

What's the best way to flat iron natural african american hair?

with the most awesome flat iron i have ever seen. It is sold on ebay but is a little costy. It is called Maxi-Glide

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

If I take biotien vitamins for your hair...? Or keep it healthy?

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

get extensions.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

It's only January, so I'm sure if you keep your hair healthy you can do it by summer--which doesn't officially start until the third week of June.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

I toom Biotin but it didn't seem to help. If you spend some time outside, especially in the spring, the sunlight will help your hair grow in more.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

The speed of hair growth is roughly 1.25 centimeters or 0.5 inches per month, being about 15 centimeters or 6 inches per year. With age the speed of hairgrowth might slow down to as little as 0.25 cm or 0.1 inch a month.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

Hair grows about a half inch a month. So in six months it should be about 3" longer. You'll be 1" under your goal. Maybe you should consider protein supplements.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

Try using Shapley's MTG oil, it is for horses, but lots of people use for human hair growth look at blackhairmedia.com/disscussion and do a seach of MTG and you can read more about it. I use and it has sulfur in it and has given me alot of growth. Be sure to moisturize your hair in the process. Biotin will also help.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

u have to trim it alot. like once a week just trim all the ends and then put those vitamins on it and it will grow faster.

Is it possible to grow my hair 4 inches before the summer?

Well hair grows 6 inches in a year. about 1/2 an inch a month. but faster during the summer and lower in the winter. But i think if you keep your hair healthy theres enough time for it to grow 4 inches.

Good Luck!

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I had blonde hair, but as i grew older, it started turning brown, so about twice a year, I get blonde highlights touched up in my hair to make it look blonde again. I have become bored with the hightlights...I want to make it ALL blonde and am having a friend, (who dyes her hair blonde all the time and its really healthy), do it for me. Will it harm my hair? it is a light brown with blonde hightlights and pretty healthy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to care for it, because I hear it becomes brittle and strawlike, and I guess I am just scared that my hair will fall out...I dont want to be bald. ;P

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I have done it for years. I too, had blonde hair as a child. And it has turned the same color as yours through the years.

I use L'Oreal's Preference in 9 1/2 BB which is a cool beige blond. It's a very nice blond color, rather light but not at all platinum. Ash is also a cool color, but looks gray--I don't like it. Warm colors have too much red for me.

Anyway, I do nothing special to keep my hair healthy. I use White Rain shampoo and Pantene conditioner. I do not use a beautician because I swear what they do is more brutal (and stinky). My hair is silky and not at all like straw. Granted, I do NOT perm it or use much hairspray, and when I use a hair dryer I wait until it's nearly dry and THEN dry it the rest of the way.

I have done this for over 20 years. My hair is thick as ever.

I say go for it! Hair colors do not make you bald. Just stay away from the stripper and bleaches. That is only used for dark brunettes and it's brutal on hair, and SHOULD be done by a salon. Just follow the directions on the haircolor box. Easy as pie!

EDIT: Unlike what somebody said up there, blond is not hard to keep. It can't fade! Just keep the roots touched up. And if you have red or gold highlights you don't like, use a cool blond color and you will not get red hair. I seem to be the only one here who has done this myself! Heck with the salon.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

dont let ur friend do it!!!!! get a real hairdresser to do it!!!! if u let ur friend do it it will definetly go bad!!!!

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Look on the bright side if it does fall out you could always become a buddist.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

i used to have really blonde hair as a kid but mine also turned brownish as i got older..

get it done at the hairdresser first and then have her touch it up when you need it.

that way its done correctly and will probably be a better overall colour and then you can just get it touched up! :)

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Unless your friend is a professional don't let her do it. Go to a reputable salon, you need to be very careful when using over the counter hair dye blond will turn brown hair orange!

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

first of all unless youre friend majorly f*cks up your hair is not going to fall out.. yes dying it damages it.. also blonde is very hard to keep up especially when you have brown hair. your are going to have to dye it religiously every 4-6 weeks..

I also had blonde hair as a child that gradually got a little darker as I got older. ( then I had kids ) WOW!! talk about hormonal change overnight.. my hair went from dark blonde to medium brown.. needless to say I was a little shell shocked.. i believe the words what the f*ck happened to my hair?? came out of my mouth... I keep my hair medium brown with Caramel or honey colored highlights its very pretty and not much upkeep because when it starts to grow out it blends in.. so I dont have dark roots and light hair like you would if you had total blond hair.. also I use Redken All Soft shampoo and Conditioner.. to keep my hair soft.. I dye my hair about once every 4 months or so..saves money and also saves my hair.. did I mention if you have any Natural gold or red highlights (they dont have to show up to be there) in your hair blond will turn it orange ??? better to let a stylist do it..

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Well, you could go bald because your friend don't have the same head as you.

You should go to a hair salon or something, buy hair dye thingy and read the instruction. it will say wether this that will harm you.

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

Well any lift of color will damage your hair. I have my hair died very light blond and it is very damaged, leave the bleaching up to the pros %26lt;---strongly recommended! Or stick with the highlights you have and maybe get some low lights, maybe auburn or caramel, and if you do decide to go with your friend dyeing your hair, I recommend that you get a product called aPhogee, it is a PH balancer and it is done in two steps. you can get it at sally's or they have a website www.aphogee.com and it worked wonders for my hair for a few weeks. I would suggest getting the bottles though. Good luck

I am going to dye my hair blonde...?

I know how you feel. And trust me the first time you definately want to go to a hairdresser, then you can ask tehm what products and brands to use for your hair.

Ladies, what is the absolute best hair conditioner you've ever used?

I need one that really does the job on making my hair shiny, thick and healthy looking. I don't care how much it costs, or how long I have to leave it on. I just want the very best. Also, where can I buy what you have suggested? I am caucasion.

Ladies, what is the absolute best hair conditioner you've ever used?

You should purchase a conditioner depending on the state of your hair . Whether it be dry, damaged, oily etc. Find out the problem of your hair, then try to find the conditioner to suite. It makes no sense buying a moisturising conditioner when your hair is oily, it only adds more moisture to the hair making the hair more oily. Check out the site www.avlon.com

Ladies, what is the absolute best hair conditioner you've ever used?

Redken , Nexus, are good brands. The newest versions you can buy in salons. If you want the best though, you have to have a stylist who actually feels your hair to recommend it to you. Some products can do magic on one person's hair and nightmare on the other's. You have to go to a good salon, and let them to recommend you a conditioner. They won't just sell you whatever.

What can I use to stop my scalp itching but my hair shine?

I have terribly itchy scalp, some shampoos make it sore, some make it flaky.

I have tried so many different things

Coal tar shampoo

Tgel

Antidandruff ie head and shoulders

baby shampoo

most commonly available anti itch shampoos

shampoo for psoriasis

etc

The only thing that works at the moment is a shampoo called Klorane with peony, it seems to work intermittently but my hair is pretty dull.

My scalp is healthy at the moment but I really need to condition my hair it is so dry with the sun and chlorine after my holiday but ALL conditioners so far have left me with scales on my head that flake and become very sore, or an itchy rash develops.

What can I use to stop my scalp itching but my hair shine?

In the past I have suffered from Psorasis of the scalp which made my scalp itchy and flaky and my hair fall out. The problem with the treatments for a dry scalp are they may make the scalp slightly better but really make your hair look dull, lifeless and brittle.

I have tried many many different shampoos, conditioners, hair tonics which have only made the condition of my hair worse. Eventually I found that a cure......I know it sounds weird but give it a try........

Put porrage oats into a clean pair of tights and run bath water through them. The bath water will turn creamy looking. Then put your head in the bathwater and massage the water and the cream produced from the oats into your scalp. This will help relieve itchiness without damaging your hair further.

I also visited a chinese herbalist who made up some tea to drink (which tasted disgusting - but miraculously worked) and had accupuncture. This helped with the dry scalp more naturally and did not effect the condition of my hair.

It took some time after that to get my hair back into condition. But after vistits to an understanding hairdresser (one hairdressers was quite nasty because I had foresaken the condition on my hair for a recovery for psoraisis) and the use of intensive conditioners (which I would sleep in and rinse out the following morning) my hair turned back to normal.

I know it can be frustrating that the cure for one aiglment only makes another part of you worse. Give what I have suggesed a try.....I know that what works for person may not work for another but you sound similar to me......you have tried so many different thinks and nothing has worked so try an alternative therepy.

Good Luck!

My rabbit is sweaty and losing hair?

as above, I have also seen what appears to be him pulling his hair out, he seems healthy, eats well, and is still as active as always, he is a indoor rabbit and its starting to concern me a little, but as he seems fine, Ive not really thought about taking him down the vets.

My rabbit is sweaty and losing hair?

Losing hair could be a sign in the changing weather but he could be sick too. If he is eating and drinking and NOT losing weight then he may be ok but if you see changes in him--it becomes VET time

What the best product for the hair ?

i am planning to be a pride in six month and i want my hair to be more healthy and longer

i want to know the best prouct it doesn't matter how much it cost

thanks for the help

What the best product for the hair ?

Well the specific products would depend on your hair type: colored, permed, dry, oily, fine, coarse ...etc. There are a lot of variables so you need to be a bit more specific.

If you have colored hair...Pureology is one of the best lines for colored hair %26amp; it is formulated for different hair types. Or if your hair is very chemically damaged, I would recommend Alterna White Truffle.

Also, you want to make sure and get regular trims to keep your ends clean and free of split ends.

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

straightening and blowdrying your hair can make the hair folicals in your hair very week and makes the hair week, also medications can make your hair come out. if you have a medical problem related to hormones, that could also be the problem. I would recomend going to a doctor and let him examine you and give you some recomendations.

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

Hiya,

I really believe in Indian Head Massage. It works for my friend who suffers from alopecia. I'm not sure why it works, but I know it activates the blood vessels in the scalp. So maybe give it a try.

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

, don't use anything on your hair that you can plug in 1st off. 2nd have you tried voluminous products, also go to someone who can give a scalp massage make sure they are licenced they will massage to bring the blood to the surface, as well as the natural oils ,this will help thicken your hair. IF YOU MUST DRY YOUR HAIR USE COLD SETTING PLEASE !!!

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

You Could Also have Alphasia (Spell?) its a stress related illness tat causes your hair to fall out and thin, but is temporary if you go to the doctors

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

ive got thinning hair i take ferrous sulphate from the doctor.ask your doctor to check your ferrin levels,if there low it means you dont store iron properly in your blood

Can anyone reccomend solution to hair thinning in female?

I use regaine but it doesnt really work for me. You can have laser treatment - I have never tried this, or for some types of thinning the doctor can prescribe steroid treatment. You need to have some blood tests to have your hormone levels and thyroid checked and to make sure you do not have pcos or cushings. It is becoming much more common for women, due to lifestyle factors. I suffer from it myself. You should try the VERITY website. It is for people with PCOS but it has a comprehensive section on this in the message boards, and people provide feedback of treatments

I too have this problem and I'm in my 20's! Having spent lots of money on various things, nothing helps. I've tried over the counter and herbal, changed my diet, the way I wash my hair. The best thing is to see a hiar dresser who will advise on a cut and style and colour to make it look better, gave me a lot more confidence doing this.

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

its a lil past my shoulders....i was wondering if it cud grow to da middle of my back by summer....

also...shud i take vitamins or sumting if i want my hair/skin to be healthy...or is there another way to get that??

thnx in advance:)

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

There are some things you can do to make your hair grow faster,Everybody has a maximum rate of hair growth,if your body is not in good health, your hair will only grow at the minimum rate, here are the necessary steps:

1.Don't wash your hair everyday, washing your hair everyday puts unnecessary stress on the hair, the more you wash, the more your hair dries out and breaks, wash your hair twice a week with an emu oil moisturizing shampoo %26amp; conditioner. It is very important that you find an emu oil shampoo %26amp; conditioner because emu oil gets rid of scalp inflamation, scalp inflamation denies the hair follicles the necessary blood flow it needs in order to grow fast.

2.Keep an oil moisturizer in your hair,it;s very important to keep some kind of oil in your hair because wind and dust in the air will make your hair dry and brittle and easier to break,my favorite oil moisturizer is Cantu Shea Butter oil moisturizer,it is kinda greasy, but you can put more or less depending on how you style your hair on that day, find an oil moisturizer that works for you.

3.Take care of your hair from the inside, take a multi-vitamin with minerals and amino acids/proteins daily, there are plenty of great vitamins out there, you just have to find what works for you, have a look at these:

http://www.salonweb.com/hair_vitamins.ht...

http://www.folica.com/Vitamins_133_1.htm...

http://www.puritan.com/pages/iq.asp?xs=7...

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/104...

4.Don't brush your brush hair, brushing rips and tears at the hair folicle, use a comb with wide teeth instead, and wear your hair up whenever possible, your clothing, especially cotton clothing can cause splits ends.Every time you wear your hair down, you are exposing it to environmental damage. It is exposed to the air, which will dry it out. Wind will cause tangles, which in turn causes more handling and more damage. Your hair will rub against your clothes which dries it out even further.

5.Massage your scalp, this will increase blood flow to the hair folicles,I love to hang off of the sofa or my bed and massage my oil moisturizer into my scalp.Sleep on a satin pillowcase to prevent damage from tossing and turning,If you have fine, thin hair, stay away from volumizing and thickening shampoos, they dry out your hair, stay away from hair accessories with metal in them, that will definitely rip and tear your hair, keep heat styling to at a minimum,no more than twice a week,if you must do this more than twice a week, find a good deep conditioning treatment, like this one:

And drink lots of water!

Hope this helps you!

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

Drink lots of water, eat healthy, work out, basically be healthy and take multi vitamins. Biotin is suppose to help with hair growth and Sephora sells a product call Vitalfan that helps .. it's amazing!

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

You can not make your hair grow faster, however, you can make it healthier and in that way it will split and break less. Keep it trimmed (make sure your stylist understands your goal and is just trimming split ends off), don't wash too much (unless you are using a lot of product you don't need to wash everyday, brush it thouroughly at night to loosen and remove debris), use cholesterol (available at Sally's Beauty Supply, helps keep your hair healthy, shinny, and smooth), eat well ballanced meals, take vitamins (if you are looking for hair growth prenatels work well), drink lots of water, drink your milk. Generally live well. Good luck.

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

hair is protein, a diet that is too low in protein may cause some thinning in hair or a retardation in the growth cycle. If you eat a protein-rich diet it will often result in improved hair growth. To Know more about your hair http://tipsfromruby-hairgrow.blogspot.co... will help you.

How do i get my hair to grow faster?

Massaging makes a lot of difference to the rate at which hair grows so a regular massage is recommended to speed up the process. Lavender oil has been shown to increase hair growth so massage the oil once a week and soak for 30 minutes before washing. Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.
