try using panteene pro-v revitalizing shampoo and conditioner. It claims to restore 2 yrs worth of damage in 1 month. I'm not sure if that's true but my hair is a lot softer and shiner in the 2 weeks I've been using it. Burt's bee products do wonders on lips!

Is Very important to use a product with a low ph (acidic) 3.5 or 5.5 to have a shiny and healthy hair.

Keep hair clean using a good mild shampoo/cond. Give it a good scalp massage. Wash off thoroughly with tepid water. Towel dry or cool setting blow dry. Brush gently with a really good brush with natural bristles. Use little hair product as it dulls the hair cuticles. Get hair trim every 4-6 weeks. Good lip moisturizer = Burt's bee natural lip wax.
