Long hair!?

I recently got my hair cut, but it's way too short and i really miss my long hair.



Any tips on how to grow it out fast and healthy?

I would suggest taken care of it and keeping it healthy. Hair grows an average of 6 inches a year sometimes faster but all you can really do is be patient.

You just have to wait, nothing will make your hair grow much faster.

There is nothing that I am aware of that makes hair grow "fast," but you can definitely make sure that it grows healthy by taking care of it! :) Also, make sure to get the dead/split ends cut off every four - five weeks or so. That can help speed up the growing process in the long run.

a really good diet and shampoo might help or vitamins... I heard if you drink orange juice...or you can just get hair extensions

you can always straighen it, doing that makes your hair look longer.

There aren't any quick fixes .



When you first get your hair cut it grows quicker and then slows down a bit.



Make sure you eat well and look after it by tying it back with something soft to protect it from breaking and not too much wind or sun.

Unfortunately there is no way to grow your hair longer any faster. There was a myth that you could grow it longer by trimming it every 6 weeks or so but this originated from seeing that men's facial hair grew thicker and faster as they shaved (thanks to puberty!). The only sure fire quick way to go back to long hair is hair extensions though not always a good idea for healthy hair.



Despite common perceptions, hair in fact dead so keeping the hair healthy looking is all about making sure you take care of the hair follicles below the scalp. You can do this by not over treating hair with chemicals, not over brushing (which can damage the hair and increase the number of split ends) and not tying up hair too tightly. Also I have read that taking vitamins such as Zinc and Biotin as well as multi-vitamins can help keep your hair looking healthy.
