How do you keep the natural oils in your hair?

Without having your hair stripped of its natural oils - and stay healthy. I shampoo and condition once a week - I shampoo twice and condition once. Shampoo with warm-hot water and condition with warm-cool water. Then, I either towel-dry or use my hair dryer. But, my hair still seems a little too dry. How can I help it to stay healthy and I don't want to go to the hairdresser, beauty stylist, or salon to do it. I want to do it myself. I either use Gerniear Fruictuse or Finesse, and sometimes Suave. What does Dove do or Tresseme?

May I just start by saying that Garnier is probably a good choice for you--it makes my hair a little greasy.By try getting a special shampoo that won't strip your hair..I think Dove has one.

Your hair care regimen is good! I do exactly what you do but i use PANTEN PRO--V best stuff out there, even for black people hair(and im talking about the normal Pantene line of products lol) Try to use Pantene, since u havent?

Eat healthy, drink lots of water. Use Heat once a week. and moisturize with hair lotion =) and comb hair every night

I'd start washing your hair every or every other day. Make sure you get a moistorizing shampoo/conditioner. Dove should be good but don't use the foam stuff. When your hair is wet, comb your hair out with a wooden comb as to keep natural oils. Plastic combs soak up too much natural oil, and brushes rip out your wet hair.
