I have long (mid back) thick, naturally straight hair. I keep up with getting my hair trimmed on a regular basis. I used to dye my hair but i got it dyed back to my natural color in january and haven't had a drop of dye in it since. my hair used to be very shiny and healthy looking. Now it just looks like hay.
i currently use Tresemme shampoo %26amp; conditioner. the cheap stuff does not work for me because my hair is so thick that i can't ever get a comb through it afterwards.
i've tried oil treatments, Aussie 5 Minute Deep conditioning and Panteen Deep conditioning. They didn't seem to do much for my hair. And i do NOT use hair styling products (ex. hairspray, gel)
Anyone have any suggestions?

I also have thick hair. My hair is dry ever since I got highlights. I'm using S Factor Serious Conditioner from Toni %26amp; Guy for $28. It's really good. You should try it, too.

try olive oil and wear a shower cap and heat your head for about 20 mins and rinse. Also be sure to use leave in hair conditioner sprays after you wash your hair and use a heat protectant when you style your hair. Also do weekly deep conditioning treatments.
makeupalley.com is a really great site to see product reviews to help you find a great conditioner.
But start with olive oil its something you should have in your kitchen!

I either use the old mayonaisse trick with a heated towel, or I crush an avacado, spread it through my hair, and leave it for about 30-minutes, then wash out.... Works like a charm! =]
