Men are constantly talking about how women HAVE to shave down there or else they'll be repulsed.

I find this ridiculous because...

1. Little girls are the bald ones, unless you're a pedo, HOW could that turn you on?

2. Men don't realize that we need that hair to keep our vaginas healthy and protected.

3. It is very painful and frustrating to maintain a perfectly smooth pubis.

4. And if they are so repulsed by pubic hair, why aren't THEY the ones who shave?

I'm a man and I don't mind that stuff, that must be a boy thing. But overall I think it looks smooth and stuff. But you don't have to shave it to bare skin you just have to keep it trimmed and neat, just don't let it get out of control.

Um we grow more hair there and when you go through puberty it gets more of course. It will grow to long and its just disgusting .....you have to wear bathing suits and i dont think anyone wants to see that.

Those are good points that you bring up but from my point of view doesnt really matter to me as long as down there is'nt a huge mess, but to get back to ur question i think the reason why most men ask women to shave their pubic area can be due to the fact of brushing up agianst it or even just women over time have been sought as "the clean ones" in a relationship

Hi there Jenna....It's not really a must...Actually, keeping a long and bushy pubic hair is unhygienic too. All I'm saying is that, we can at least keep it short and trim if you don't want it shave it all off. Some women like it bold. Some like it shaped up. It's all depends on the individual. That goes the same with the men too..As for me, I like my men bold. You can go and do it at the "Stripe" Brazilian Wax. You should try it.

BUT, if you are asking why women MUST shave 'em to complete baldness. I would say that is a matter of personal preference. I am not sure about your statement #2 regarding the health of the vagina relating to the presence of pubic hair, but I can certainly understand the discomfort involved with trying to kep that area perfectly smooth.
